Coyote In Love have you ever loved someone more than yourself have you ever been let down or put on the shelf stayed up every night howling at the moon and it’s always the same old tune coyote in love with a star how far will you go to try and win her heart and will she make you or will she break you I guess we’ll have to wait and see well a woman like that is more trouble than she’s worth you’ll give her the world and you’ll only get hurt she’ll lift you up higher than you’ve ever flown just so she can let you down coyote in love with a star how far will you go to try and win her heart and will she make you or will she break you I guess we’ll have to wait and see cause love can be so mean for coyote in love with a star now she’s left you in a hole deeper than your misery the tears that you cry are as blue as the sea if you keep on crying you could fill up a lake or just stay up and howl the nights away coyote in love with a star how far will you go to try and win her heart and will she make you or will she break you I guess we’ll have to wait and see cause love can be so mean for coyote in love with a star

The Loneliest Cowboy In The City Tonight oh today was a doozy right from the start my baby left me and now we’re apart it just wasn’t right and I just might be the loneliest cowboy in the city tonight so I’ll hang up my hat and kick off my boots lay down my head say goodnight to the blues maybe tomorrow I’ll feel alright but I’m the loneliest cowboy in the city tonight I can hear music from the bar down below and people are laughing outside my window the singer is singing ‘bout whiskey and lies and I’m the loneliest cowboy in the city tonight [chorus] well I miss the dark and I miss the quiet cause the buses and cars just rattle my mind and I can’t see the stars with all these bright lights and I’m the loneliest cowboy in the city tonight [chorus] and in the morning if you’re on my mind I’ll be somewhere else by tomorrow night out on the range with no one in sight but I’m the loneliest cowboy in the city tonight yeah, the loneliest cowboy in the city tonight

Castaway 03:48
Castaway when I was I young man was a captain all my own but I’ve sailed this ship away from everything I’ve ever known and now I’m living on an island stranded in my mind waiting on somebody to throw me a line just another castaway waiting on a better day I’m looking for a way to get back home living on an island 'neath the off-ramp downtown feel the rumble overhead of the diesels coming down and I pretend it’s the water the waves on the sand sometimes I almost feel it running through my hands I get up in the morning and I start to make my rounds cause I need a little sugar to help this medicine go down but I doubt there’s drink strong enough been made or a thousand sandy beaches could wash these memories away out on the island in the middle of the night the water’s coming in and I’m running out of time and my bones are wet from laying on the ground my heart’s still beating but it don't make a sound

Farther Down The Road let’s see how far we can walk with our eyes closed we’ll take turns keeping watch while the other goes and if I head for the side won’t you let me know I’d hate to end up in the ditch farther down the road farther down the road farther down the road will you be standing next to me farther down the road I’ll keep my eyes closed I’ll keep my eyes closed will you be standing next to me farther down the road and if I take a trip if I take a fall will you be there to comfort me when I am down we all need a friend when we’re feeling low I’ll be yours if you be mine farther down the road when I’m old and in the grey and my feet are tired you know I’m gonna need a push to get me down the line and we wont have to walk so fast or keep our eyes closed and we won’t have to look ahead farther down the road

Hold On To The Blues well I see you found a friend and you’re holding onto him and in your eyes I realize the trouble I’m in and I did all I could do to hold onto you but it’s over so I’ll let you go and hold onto the blues from now on I’m holding on to something I can keep and it’s holding onto me, it just won’t let me be and I did all I could do to hold onto you but it’s over so I’ll let you go and hold onto the blues well I’m feeling blue and I don’t know what to do cause no amount of whiskey can convince me to stop loving you but I guess there’s no use in holding onto you so I’ll let you go drink alone and hold onto the blues

Crying On The Dancefloor crying on the dancefloor you run and hide your eyes and all your friends try to pretend they don’t know the reason why you’re crying on the dancefloor nothing turns out right what did he do to make you blue tonight? did he tell you that he loved you and promise to be true do you still think you’re the only one he was saying those things to the way he held her tightly and stared into her eyes the way that he’s been holding you and telling you his lies you know you should forget him you know he can’t be true cause all this time you’ve toed the line he’s been stepping out on you you know if you forgive him he’ll never treat you right he’ll only do you wrong again and tomorrow night

Teach My Baby To Dance I’m gonna teach my baby to dance gonna bow and take her hand and any circumstance we get the chance we’ll be practicing our stance I’m gonna teach my baby to dance stomp and clap her hands she’ll be feeling the groove and busting a move when I institute my plan we’ll be the sweetest thing that you’ve ever seen when I teach my baby to dance gonna teach my baby to dance show him where he stands cause he ain’t a man who understands things like that gonna teach my baby to dance sway strut and prance he’ll be shaking his booty in a youtube movie a regular boogie man he’ll have rhythm when I’m through with him gonna teach my baby to dance we’ll make the scene at every spot in town if the music’s hot we’re sure to come around give me a groove I got to move and dance away these weary blues cause when you’re low you know you should get down gonna teach my baby to dance gonna teach my baby to dance ‘cause there ain’t a romance that can’t be enhanced by holding each other’s hand I’m gonna teach my baby to dance we’ll cancel our other plans sell our stuff and buy a bus so we can follow the band we’ll be the sweetest thing that you’ve ever seen when I teach my baby to dance

Tonight I’m Holding Her But I’m Thinking of You laid down beside that girl of mine by the light of the moon I loved her like I’d always done but it left me feeling blue it’s you that I am longing for and my heart can’t be fooled tonight I’m holding her but I’m thinking of you tonight I’m holding her but I’m thinking of you the love I had before is gone there’s nothing I can do I’d like to get you off my mind and sing another tune tonight I’m holding her but I’m thinking of you I’ll lie awake tonight again with her in the room and though she’ll be there with me you’ll be there too if I ever get you off my mind I’ll sleep again soon tonight I’m holding her but I’m thinking of you so it’s goodbye to my old friend I’ve found somebody new there’s a feeling in this heart of mine that I cannot lose you made me love you darling and you left me feeling blue tonight I’m holding her but I’m thinking of you

Surrender 04:19
Surrender in the doorway looking hard piece pointed at my heart mouth was cutting like an old bonesaw trying to make me draw but I’m not gonna fight I’ve got nothing to hide I’ve got no arms besides these two to hold you tight so drop your weapons reach your hands to the sky please surrender to me tonight I wish I knew what to do what to say when there’s no getting through you’re barricaded up in your room and I’m down in the street calling to you I need a break I need some room cause it’s always an ambush when I’m with you hold your fire you’ve got me on the run if you’re not careful you might shoot me down why don’t you let down your guard afraid someone might steal your heart sometimes it’s better to lose why keep it if it gives you the blues
